When the Rolex Sea-Dweller reference 16600 was taken out of production at the Rolex facilities in Geneva, a lot of admirers presumably shed a little tear. Rolex announced the Deepsea Sea-Dweller 116660 as the successor of the Sea-Dweller, but many fans of the former model(s) are just more appealing than the new bulky 43mm Deepsea, and for a good reason. This model holds truest to the original form factor of the Original Sea-Dwellers of yesteryear while offering the latest innovation including Chromalight lume, ceramic bezel, and the Supercase construction. This model has all the calling cards of a future classic
