Reports
Case : The tri-color case shows nearly no wear, with only a handful of hairlines and light scratches present through the case and bracelet. The overall impression is spectacular for a watch of this era. The faceted lugs remain well defined with the original geometry of the 18349 on full display. The condition of the caseback is consistent with the rest of the watch, showing almost no wear with no significant imperfections. The rear of the lugs illustrates nearly no signs of prior bracelet removal. The model, brand, and serial number engravings remain sharp and detailed.
Dial : The dial, hands, and crystal are all in spectacular condition and show no signs of degradation. The tritium lume on the hands and the single tritium lume plot at 6 show nearly no discoloration and are totally intact.
Bracelet/Strap: The condition of the Rolex 8285 tri-color gold bracelet is consistent with the rest of the case. Nearly no wear is present throughout. The hallmarks of the buckle remain totally intact and defined. There is a remarkable lack of bracelet sag that makes this 18349 a very attractive specimen. The bracelet has 23 original links.
