Case : The platinum case displays little to no wear, with only a handful of faint hairlines and light scratches across the entire case. The original geometry of this 18346 is sound. The condition of the caseback is consistent with the rest of the watch, showing some signs of professional and respectable polishing. The rear of the lugs illustrates nearly no signs of prior bracelet removal. The model, brand, and serial number engravings remain sharp and detailed.

Dial : The dial, hands, and crystal are all in spectacular condition and show no signs of degradation or discoloration. The tritium of the hands and at the markers exhibits no discoloration and is entirely intact.

Bracelet/Strap: The condition of the Rolex 8385 bracelet is consistent with the rest of the case. There are signs of a quality polishing job that has restored the bracelet's luster while respecting its overall geometry. The hallmarks of the buckle remain fully intact and well-defined. There is some bracelet sag, but for a platinum bracelet of this age, we find it better than most and consider it a great example. The bracelet has 22 original links.
