The Rolex GMT-Master II reference 126720VTNR is famously dubbed the “Sprite” or “Lefty” in the watch community. Introduced at Watches and Wonders 2022, this model immediately stood out for its unique left-handed (destro) configuration—the crown and date window are on the left side of the case, designed especially for left-handed wearers (although anyone can rock it for style and comfort).
The most striking feature of the 126720VTNR is its vibrant black and green bi-color Cerachrom ceramic bezel, a fresh colorway that’s a first for the GMT-Master II lineup. The “VTNR” code stands for Verte/Noire (French for green/black). Crafted in the robust 40mm Oystersteel case, it features the classic black lacquer dial, bold Chromalight markers and hands, and a green 24-hour GMT hand for tracking a second time zone. The watch is equipped with the highly durable and stylish Oyster or Jubilee bracelet.
Under the hood, the 126720VTNR beats with Rolex’s Calibre 3285, offering 70 hours of power reserve, a Paramagnetic blue Parachrom hairspring, and a precision 2/+2 seconds per day rating, in accordance with Rolex’s Superlative Chronometer standards.
