Model Overview

Revealing the intricacies of the calendar function, the fully skeletonised Big Date complication of the Flying Tourbillon Grande Date B 1.618 movement displays the date in a format that is both easy to read and aesthetically minimalist. A simple colour accent on the aperture identifies the current date, without detracting from the mechanical subtlety of the two discs that rotate in time with the days. Bianchet chose to adapt the big date complication, invented by Lange & Sohne in 1994, in a contemporary and essential style, revealing its mechanical ingenuity.

A Word From Our Curator

"The Bianchet builds upon the increasing popularity of the tonneau shape, with a fresh take on movement design and the use of technical materials. We think its a hit! "

Inspired By Nature

The golden ratio and the beauty of nature have inspired each of the House’s pieces. This approach originally comes from Michel Parmigiani – master watchmaker, restorer, and founder of the brand – who has always been inspired by the world around us.

Historical Craftsmanship

More than fifty trades are required to make a Parmigiani Fleurier watch, including enamellers, guillocheurs, and master watchmakers. Day after day, these craftsmen breathe life into the historical expertise of a watch manufacture located at the heart of the Swiss Jura Mountains.

Masters Of All

Producers of dials, cases, and components… These craftsmen, who are the foremost partners of the House, have been sought out over decades to create the in-house manufacture. Selected for their meticulous workmanship and quality technical elements, they produce the smallest components and ensure their final assembly.

Brand Focus

Bianchet

Blending Italian design and a sense of elegance with the French art of fine living and attention to detail, Bianchet watches embody a modern essence of style. Crafted from noble materials with a sporty and technological soul, entirely made and finished by hand in Switzerland in respect of centuries of high horology techniques, the Tourbillon B1.618 Openwork is a true expression of contemporary Haute Horlogerie. Uniting the sensory, cultural, mathematical, and mechanical, this skeleton tourbillon was conceived and designed according to the principles of the Golden Ratio 1.618 and the Fibonacci sequence. The tonneau shape of the case, the design of its movement, the Italian aesthetic sensibility, the French sense of details; everything within it expresses refinement, pure lines, and a natural sense of balance that makes it a watch of our time for our time.
