Audemars Piguet introduced the Code 11.59 in 2019 not knowing it would become one of the most divisive models in their history. Since its design was wholly new, it varied vastly from the renowned Royal Oak design AP is synonymous with. Initially, the Code 11.59 failed to capture the hearts of collectors and enthusiasts alike leading to a lack luster demand overall. Enough time has passed since its launch and sentiment toward the Code 11.59 has shifted in its favor. AP has grown the collection of the freshly minted design to include some of the most fabled complications in the catalog, including the "Star-Wheel" and perpetual calendars which have earned the Code 11.59 some well deserved reverence and recognition.
