Model overview
The Qualité Fleurier is a foundation that certifies watches that have met high criteria and finishing standards. Located in Fleurier, a watchmaking town in the Jura mountains of Switzerland, the foundation was formed by the local watchmaking companies Bovet, Chopard, Parmigiani, and Vaucher to push the limits of quality standards for the area.
Watchmaking in this region is widely recognized as some of the finest craftsmanship in the world. While the QF certification may be viewed as a formality in some respects, it still reinforces the horological prowess of the region and its commitment to only the highest form of watchmaking art.
It is worth noting that the Swiss federal government, the canton of Neuchâtel in the Val-de-Travers, supports the Fleurier Quality Foundation and certification practices.
