The Datejust is one of Rolex's oldest and most enduring watch collections. It was first introduced in 1945 to celebrate the company's 40th anniversary.. The original Datejust had a case size of 36mm. While a date display has now become standard on most watches, the Rolex Datejust was the world's first self-winding wristwatch to feature a date window that would automatically change over at midnight. This feature set the standard for how a date complication on a wristwatch should function, a fact that can't be ignored.
Unlike many of Rolex's other iconic watch lines, the Datejust was not designed for a particular sport, environment, or lifestyle activity. All of our pre-owned watches have undergone non-invasive mechanical inspections to ensure they are operating correctly and to ensure that they meet our standards of timekeeping and functionality.
Our pre-owned watches, unless stated otherwise, are covered by either a full or a limited twenty-four month warranty. This excludes any and all damage or mechanical failure sustained to the watch due to improper use or incident. Due to their age, some pre-owned watches should not be subjected to the same conditions they were rated to when they where new.
Greenwich Time Assures that every watch sold is 100% verified, authentic, and in perfect working order. Watches include their original box and warranty documents/cards unless specified otherwise. Our ‘pre-owned’ watches are certified authentic, in working condition, and contain no aftermarket parts unless listed otherwise. Should a listing lack the original box, Greenwich Time will provide their signature watch box.
