Model overview
The Royal Oak Offshore was introduced by Audemars Piguet in 1993 as a sportier and more robust version of their revolutionary watch, the Royal Oak, designed by Gerald Genta in 1972. The Offshore was larger and thicker than the original and featured a visible gasket between the bezel and the case. This particular model, the Royal Oak Offshore Blue "Indigo," has a 42mm stainless steel case, a blue rubber strap, and a blue mega tapisserie dial with matching blue chronograph sub-dials.
