Case bears numerous scratches and abrasions throughout. The lugs may exhibit moderate to significant polishing and softening of edges throughout the case. The dial and hands may have noticeable blotches or blemishes unless otherwise specified. Lume may exhibit degradation, damage, flaking, or significant discoloration, which may be unattractive in some circumstances.

Case Report: The case is relatively strong, exhibiting some softening around the chamfers and the case back. The entire case shows evidence of polishing but remains in fair condition. The case sides display numerous scratches, consistent with a watch nearly 60 years old. The bezel is still relatively sharp.

Dial, Hands, & Crystal Report: The champagne pie-pan stick dial is in great condition; there are a few minor blemishes scattered throughout. The baton markers are all sharp and have very few blemishes. The tritium markers are all intact but show some discoloration, and have remained even throughout. The crystal has a few micro abrasions but has no chips, dents, or unattractive wear.

Bracelet/Strap Report: Although we have seen crisper examples of the 73 rivet bracelet, this still has acceptable sag for its age and use. There are a few dents and dings, and it has undoubtedly been polished in the past, but it still retains a good amount of sharpness. The polished surfaces show some swirling and superficial scratches, while the brushed portions have only a handful of nicks and scuffs.
